Dr Goodyear is a registered specialist orthodontists.
A specialist orthodontist is a person who has first studied to become a general dentist and then has completed at least a further three years of full-time study at a recognised University to obtain the Master of Dental Science Degree in Orthodontics.
The State Dental Board requires that a dentist must have completed this extra study and training culminating in the Masters Degree in Orthodontics before being entitled to be called an Orthodontist.
Once this has been achieved, even further study can be done in orthodontics to obtain Fellowships and Memberships to the Royal Surgical Colleges. Both Dr Agnew and Dr Goodyear have done this as well.
To remain at abreast of the latest developments, Dr Goodyear attends conferences and complete ongoing training to ensure her patients receive the most up to date treatment available.more about Dr. Faye Goodyear
